Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BioMate AI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BioMate AI is an AI assistant for biomedical research and application, providing computational workflows including, but not limited to, drug discovery, genomics, proteomics, and structural biology. Results generated by the Service are research tools intended to support — not replace — expert scientific judgment. All outputs require validation before use in clinical, regulatory, or diagnostic decisions.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Accounts are non-transferable. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that are associated with suspected fraud or abuse.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for activities that violate applicable law; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our models; upload data you do not have the right to process; use outputs to develop competing products without written permission; or overload platform infrastructure in a way that degrades service for other users.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. By uploading data, you grant BioMate AI a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your research data, workflows, or results. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

6. Intellectual Property

BioMate AI and its licensors own all rights to the platform, its underlying models, and the BioMate AI brand. Results generated by the Service that incorporate your data are owned by you; the underlying analytical methods and models remain our property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete. Scientific outputs must be independently validated. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioMate AI's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost profits or data loss.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days before deletion, during which you may export it via the platform or by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas, except where mandatory arbitration applies under applicable law.
